We have a selection of quality outdoor gear and equipment for hire to guided and non-guided clients.

Where possible and to avoid disappointment, prior bookings are recommended especially during the busy summer months and winter off-season. Please let us know at the time you book your guided trip with us, whether you wish to hire any items.

Prices are the same for trips of 1 - 3 day duration. For longer trips, please contact us directly for rates. Our rates are based on the fact that the gear & equipment we hire are quality items including: Macpac, Everwarm, Leki, Deuter, Primus, Kovea.

Please note: Our Birds & Forest Booking Office is in the centre of Oban Township, 1/2 minute walk from the Department of Conservation Office. If you want us to drop-off and pick-up gear there are extra charges..
