Our Environment

It is important to be prepared for varying weather conditions for your comfort and safety and that of other group members. See Weather for information. Below are lists of recommended things to wear and bring on Day Walks and on Overnight Trips.

Please note, cotton trousers and jeans are not recommended for overnight trips.

Check out our Hire Outdoor Gear and Retail Outdoor Gear pages for items you can hire or buy from us.

Packing

For overnight trips, be sure to keep your pack as light as possible - not only will you enjoy your trip far more but you will also have the energy to do more. Some tips are to carry quick drying pack towels and to keep toiletries (e.g. toothpaste and face creams) in clean film cannisters.
