A permanent position for an experienced and qualified, people-friendly skipper, who loves nature and enjoys sharing their knowledge with customers. Experience driving outboard motor boats essential. 

TRAINEE Admin AND OPERATIONS MANAGER

A permanent position for an outdoor enthusiast able to carry out a variety of tasks from administration and marketing duties to ensuring the smooth running of our tours and services. Able to help in our booking office selling tours / services / gear.

ASSISTANT SALES, Marketing and ADMIN

A permanent position for a special person who is mature and responsible to take on this dynamic role in our booking office and outdoor shop in Stewart Island. 

trainee NATURE & BIRDWATCHING GUIDE

Seasonal work for the right person with essential skills and the passion for nature, birds and wildlife. Friendly and outgoing, an excellent communicator with good physical fitness. Must have an outdoor qualification or suitable experience. This role develops into a lead guide role. Mainly seasonal from October to April / May.  

QUALIFIED SEA KAYAK & NATURE GUIDE

Seasonal work for a person with NZ recognised sea kayaking qualifications who can also help on overnight guided nature walks and occasional day trips. Sea kayaking is variable and weather dependent.

trainee SUPPORT guide

An important role! Can you help fill in gaps, working on a variety of small jobs and also assisting our Nature Guide on overnight trips. Are you flexible, friendly and helpful. Must be physically fit. For the right candidate, willing to commit to several seasons, this role could develop into a lead guide role. Mainly seasonal from October to April / May.
